All contacts from Members, Affiliates and Associates are encouraged to attend the LBMA’s Annual General Meetings. The focus of the September meeting will be the Board Elections, introduction of our new Non-Executive Chairman, as well as an Annual Report from the CEO.
Board Election – Full Members & Market Maker Run-off
This year the Full Member representatives are up for election and nominations are required for individuals wishing to stand for these positions for a term of two years. Also given that there are now more Market Maker representative incumbents than there are positions on the Board, there will be a run-off election between those incumbents to decide which representatives will continue for the last year of their appointment. This change in numbers is due to the agreed changes to the Board make-up during the last LBMA General Meeting in June.
Voting Procedures – Full Members Only
Official LBMA Contacts for Full Members (or their nominated colleague) are encouraged to attend and vote in person. Associate & Affiliate contacts are encouraged to attend, however are not eligible to vote. Those official contacts who are unable to attend may send a postal vote* in to me via email by midday 27 September.
* simply email before the due date noting your three preferred candidates for each category.
